- 1/2 cup of butter, melted
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup whipped topping
- 1 package instant chocolate pudding mix
- 2 cups milk
- Additional whipped topping for garnish
- Chocolate shavings or chips for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix the chocolate cookie crumbs with melted butter until combined. Press this mixture into the bottom of a 9×13 inch pan to form a crust.
- Beat together the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Fold in the whipped topping. Spread this layer over the crust in the pan.
- Whisk together the instant chocolate pudding mix and milk until thickened. Spread this layer over the cream cheese layer in the pan.
- Refrigerate the dessert for at least 4 hours or until set.
- Top with additional whipped topping and garnish with chocolate shavings or chips before serving.
