  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 large egg yolks
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Powdered sugar for dusting
  • Vanilla ice cream (optional for serving)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and grease and flour four ramekins.
  2. Melt the butter and chocolate chips together in a microwave-safe bowl until smooth.
  3. Combine the melted chocolate mixture with eggs and egg yolks until blended.
  4. Mix in the granulated sugar, flour, and salt until a smooth batter forms.
  5. Fill the prepared ramekins with the batter, leaving some space at the top.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-14 minutes, watching for the center to remain gooey.
  7. Cool for 1 minute, then invert onto plates and dust with powdered sugar.
